Our Programs
Affinity Planning and Insurance Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities to marginalized communities through direct programming and promotion of community invested partner activities. Please find below our 2023 programming designed to empower and uplift
APIF Grants
APIF desires to award grants to college level students to participate in Insurance and financial management industries. The Foundation was established for the purpose of strengthening and growing the industry for the next century and beyond. Through its grant program, APIF is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion at all levels of the mutual insurance industry. The Foundation recognizes that bringing individuals with an array of talents, ideas, and cultural experiences into the insurance industry is imperative to fostering the innovation that drives the industry’s ability to effectively serve its policyholders. APIF recognizes individuals and awards minority advocacy agencies with funding designed to support their work.
APIF Apprenticeship Program
At Affinity we extensively review employers and employees and match them based on talent need, expertise, and culture fit. When you've found the right apprentice, it's best to pair them with a strong mentor to help them learn the specific ins and outs of your team's structure, workflow, and needs. This gives you time to assess their aptitude and fit before hiring them on as a full-fledged employee. Our 2023 Apprenticeship partners with Cardinal Ritter Prperatory High School located in St. Louis , MO. exposing and preparing African American students for careers in our related industries.
